The History of Friendship Bracelets

Friendship bracelets originated from Central America. The first bracelets ever spotted in the U.S were first seen in the early 1970’s. Friendship bracelets are supposed to be worn until the strings start to disintegrate and eventually it will fall off. By wearing it until it falls off you are showing that you appreciate all of the hard work and effort your friend put into making it.
